Your current team makes a set number of sales calls per day. With AI handling outreach at scale, the total call volume increases by the multiplier you choose. The additional calls go through your connect rate to reach decision makers, then through a booking rate to convert into meetings. Because AI handles high-volume, consistent outreach while your human reps are better at rapport-based conversations, the calculator applies an AI call-to-meeting rate (set by the slider) to the AI-generated calls. The result is the number of additional meetings booked on top of what your team already produces today.
Call Volume Multiplier
This represents how many more total calls AI enables your team to make. At 2x, your team's current daily call volume doubles. At 3x, it triples. Your human reps continue making their existing calls at their existing rate. AI adds the extra volume on top, covering more leads, re-engaging cold prospects, and following up without adding headcount. Industry benchmarks typically range from 2x to 4x depending on your call type and automation setup.
AI Call-to-Meeting Rate
Not all calls are the same. AI excels at high-volume, consistent outreach but your human reps often perform better at converting a connected call into a booked meeting through rapport and real-time conversation. This slider lets you model how effectively AI converts connected calls into meetings relative to your team. At 100%, AI performs identically to your reps. At 65%, if your team books 15% of connected calls, AI books around 10%. This is a lever for you to adjust based on your expectations, and can be updated once you have real data.
Revenue Opportunity
Additional meetings booked are multiplied by your win rate and your average deal value to estimate additional revenue opportunity. For example, if AI generates 183 more meetings, and your team closes 25% of meetings at $5,000 per deal, the revenue opportunity is approximately $229,000. This is labelled as opportunity rather than guaranteed revenue because actual results depend on your sales process, product fit, and team execution.
Additional Pipeline
This is the gross value of all additional meetings booked, calculated as additional meetings multiplied by your deal value before applying the win rate. It represents the total potential in your pipeline that AI-generated meetings bring in, before accounting for deals that do not close. Sales leaders often track pipeline separately from closed revenue as an indicator of future performance.
Outreach Staff Time Value Freed
When AI handles additional calls, your human team no longer needs to make those calls themselves. The time freed is calculated by multiplying the number of additional calls by your average call duration to get total hours. That is then divided by 2,080 annual working hours (a standard full-time work year) to express it as a full-time equivalent, and multiplied by annual salary to give it a dollar value. This shows the capacity your team gains to focus on higher-value activities like closing and relationship building.
Why We Use Conservative Defaults
The calculator is deliberately set up with conservative starting assumptions: a 2x call multiplier, a 65% AI call-to-meeting rate, and modest funnel rates. This is intentional. We would rather show you a projection you can comfortably beat than one that looks impressive on paper but sets unrealistic expectations. All inputs are adjustable, and the assumptions that matter most for your business are yours to set.
