Most cost comparisons only look at base salary, which understates what a staff member actually costs a Singapore employer. This calculator adds CPF employer contribution (17%, the standard rate for Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 55 and below) on top of base salary. For example, a staff member earning SGD 3,500 a month costs closer to SGD 4,095 a month once CPF is included.

Calls Automated Per Year

We multiply your daily call volume by 250 working days a year, a standard Singapore working year excluding weekends and public holidays, then apply your chosen automation rate. If your team handles 150 calls a day and you set automation at 75%, that's 28,125 calls a year handled by AI instead of staff.

Staff Hours Freed

Automated calls are multiplied by your average call duration to get total minutes freed, then converted to hours. This reflects time your team no longer needs to spend on calls that AI now handles, time that can go toward higher-value work like closing deals or handling complex customer issues.

Equivalent Staff Capacity Freed

Total hours freed is divided by standard annual working hours, 2,080 hours, based on a typical 40-hour work week across 52 weeks, to express the time savings as a number of full-time staff equivalents. This helps answer a practical question: how many additional hires would you need to handle this same call volume manually?

% of Payroll Saved

This shows the estimated gross saving as a percentage of your total annual staff cost, calculated as gross saving divided by total annual staff cost. It gives a quick sense of scale, how much of your current calling-related payroll could be freed up through automation, independent of your specific salary numbers.

Estimated Gross Saving

This is the equivalent staff capacity freed, multiplied by the true cost per staff member, including CPF.
